Blueberry bushes from Aarons Nursery are guaranteed to live and in most cases will produce fruit the first year. Blueberries have been labeled by researchers as one of the healthiest fruits on the planet; they contain anthocyanins which are said to reduce free radicals in the body, thus lowering risks of some cancers.
We highly recommend for families with young children to plant blueberry bushes. Because they fruit at such a young age, our impatient next generation can see the fruition of their labor sooner
Rabbiteye blueberries will thrive as far South as Tampa, Florida and as far North as Maryland. Blueberry plants are very low maintenance and require only annual thinning of the branches. Plant at least two varieties for cross pollination. Feel free to freeze extra berries for later use in pies or cobblers as they last indefinitely when properly stored.
