Alternative Views:

The Florida Home pear tree, Pyrus communis x Pyrus pyrifolia 'Flordahome', is also called, the 'Flordahome pear tree, and this low chill pear tree requires 350 or less in chill hours to set a crop, yet it can also be grown as far North as zone 6.  The pears ripen in late July or August with a crisp, lemony-sweet flavor blend that is agreeably refreshing and exquisitely fragrant.  The Florida Home pear tree is fast growing and in March  begins forming  its white, flowering pear blossoms that sweeten the air.

Well packaged and secured in the shipping box. Roots were well wrapped and included a bit of gel to keep them moist. I wish that we did not need to cut off so much of the roots but they have to fit into the box. They are in the ground already and I hope they do well come spring.
