Indian Blood Cling Peach Tree

Alternative Views:

Indian Blood Cling peach tree, Prunus persica 'Indian Blood Cling' is an antique variety of peach that is used in canning.  Because of its high sugar content and small size, that makes it a good size to drop into the top of  a “Mason Jar' glass container.  The skin of this cultivar is blood red, and the yellow juicy flesh is streaked with brilliant red filaments and is fitted snug inside with a corrugated peach pit in the center..  In the South the jar of peach pickles are traditionally brought out to serve at Thanksgiving banquet tables and for Christmas day holidays.

First time peach tree planting. If results are near as good as initial appearance of the tree... I'll be well satisfied.
