James Pecan Tree

Alternative Views:

The James pecan tree is the most cold hardy pecan tree that can be grown in the more Northern States. The nuts are thin shelled and have an oily spicy taste and are medium in size.  The James pecan tree flowers appear late in the spring, and thus, avoid early frosts that could possibly negatively affect pecan tree yields and the nuts are very early to ripen in September, just in time for enjoying and eating during the holidays.
