This Quince is extremely large it is almost twice the size of any other known grafted quince tree. The green fruit of the Jumbo Quince is great for picking and eating right off the tree. The Jumbo Quince Tree is semi-dwarf, and a fast growing flowering plant, with delicate pink blooms. It is rumored that Quince trees originated in Turkey. It is self-fertile and ripens in most locations in September. This cultivar can be grown in forty-eight states except for extreme southern areas of Florida, California, Arizona, and Texas.
