Here in Georgia a summer season just doesn't seem right without eating a bowl of Nectarines.  In most areas of the United States you can eat Nectarines in the months of June, July, and August.  All of the Nectarine Trees that we carry can grow in USDA Zones 5-9.

Sun Red is a variety of Nectarine that requires as little as 250 chill hours so its naturally best for those growers in warmer climates. The Sun Red Nectarine is a free-stone variety from Florida and grows vigorously in the south. Another variety that is very tasty right when picked from the tree is the Sunbright Nectarine. These plants flourish from USDA Zones 5-9 and are a great addition to any backyard orchard or garden. If you're looking for a variety of Nectarine to ripen in early June, the Karla Rose Nectarine is your best bet. It's a semi free-stone Nectarine with a white flesh and most enjoyed when eaten fresh off of the tree.
