Peppermint Flowering Peach Tree

Alternative Views:

The Peppermint Flowering Peach, Prunus x persica 'Peppermint', trees begin flowering early in the spring, along with the flowering dogwoods and redbud trees.  The tight double flowers of this spectacular tree will wrap around the bare branches and twigs in a random pattern of variegated, color groupings.  Some branches can be covered with all white flowers, others with pink or red, and most are cloaked with double flowers, that contain separate segments of all three colors.  These flowering peach trees are cold hardy from zone 6 through zone 9.
