Concord Seedless Grape Vine
Concord Seedless Grape Vine

Alternative Views:

The Seedless Concord Grape Vines, Vitis labrusca 'Concord Seedless,'  have  resulted from the discovery of a chance mutation cultivar that was found growing on a regular, Bunch, Concord Grape Vine that was taken from a pick-your own vineyard in the State of New York.  The Seedless Concord Grape Vines seem to excel in two respects:  the Seedless Concord grapes are sweeter, and will ripen one week earlier in late August for the summer market than the parent, seed-containing, Concord, bunch grape vine.  The Seedless Concord Grape Vine is the most cold hardy of all the seedless grapes, surviving the coldest winters in Zones 5,6,7,8 and 9.
