Sunbright is a recent introduction from the South Carolina experiment stations that is especially good in the deep South. The red-orange fruit is very tasty when picked and eaten directly from the tree. The tender skin of the Sunbright nectarine melts into a sweet pulp dripping with juice from a tree that is self-pollinating. Super low chill requiring only 2-300 hours below 45 degrees F.
