Many Different Apple Trees

Apple trees are adapted throughout the U.S. and the Deep South. We have seen on large trees the first year of transplanting, but this is unusual, and the fruit should be picked soon after setting to encourage tree size and not fruit production.

Dolgo Fruiting Crabapple Tree

Dolgo Crabapple Trees perfectly pollinate apple trees which require pollination. The red fruit of the Dolgo Crabapple tree is excellent when candied. Wildlife animals such as deer, birds and turkey love crabapple that normally ripen in late fall when wildlife food is scarce.

Yellow apples such as the Golden Delicious apples and the Dorsett Golden apples are famous for flavor and apple pie baked from either apple tree will draw crowds for feasting.

The Dorsett Golden apple along with the Anna apple were developments in Israel by researchers who were looking for an apple tree that would produce fruit in a very hot climate-requiring little chilling hours. There two jewish apples have been found to be perfect producers even down to central and lower Florida where apple production.
