Early Golden Apricot Tree

The golden color of an apricot means that the fruit is ready for harvesting. In the South, the Early Golden Apricot tree is by far the most prolific apricot grown. The Early Golden apricot bears large, deeply golden yellow fruits that have a rich, juicy flavor. The Early Golden apricot may be eaten fresh, canned or dried.

Apricot Trees are self pollinating and therefore an Apricot separate tree pollinator is not necessary.

Fruiting apricot trees are the first "Prunus" to flower in the spring, sometimes flowering apricots will bloom in January. Apricot trees planted in Northern climates often will have late flowering trees damaged by frost and fruiting apricots may have damaged fruit crops.
