Clivia Bulbs [Clivia miniata]

aka Kaffir Lily

Graceful, strap-shaped, rich-green leaves are beautiful year round, and its 6-inch flower heads of intense salmon-orange, produced in late winter and spring, are spectacular! Peerless for containers. Grow in shade. Very long-lived and seldom needs repotting; in fact, blooming improves if potbound.

This showy perennial displays large, deep green, strap-like leaves and intense orange flower heads on tall stems. An absolutely gorgeous accent, border plant or great container specimen. Evergreen. Partial to full shade. Moderate-growing to 1 ½ to 2 ½ feet tall and wide. Seed grown.

This tropical looking plant looks like a giant amaryllis with a huge umbel of orange or red flowers. It is not unusual for a blooming size bulb to produce 2 flower stems at once and often will rebloom in time.

This very deeply colored, red-orange Clivia usually flowers with multiple flower stems and a repeating bloom stem in the summer.
