Fall Shipping Update

Aaron's Farm usually begins the shipment of dormant woody trees around December 15th as determined by local weather conditions. Some varieties of evergreens and bulbs can be shipped as early as November while other varieties like the Quince, Jujube, and bearing size trees are imported from California later in the season and shipped to you in January or February.

Customers in Northern states need not worry that the plants are shipped in freezing weather because dormant trees are very resilient, but leafing trees may be hurt if planted out of season. If you desire, however, we are happy to ship your order in the Spring upon request.

During the winter, fruiting trees normally grow roots underground but show no growth above ground. It is safe to plant your trees anytime before spring leaf-pit and your plants are guaranteed to live for the first year. We will notify you via email a few days before your order ships.

The Department of Agriculture and State of Georgia have enacted laws forbidding shipment of woody trees before dormancy. Aaron's Farm is eager to ship your order but can only do so when cold weather triggers dormancy. We cannot accommodate any request to ship plants before dormant since doing so would be illegal. Your entire order will be shipped together to consolidate shipping costs.
